As he walks down the sidewalk.
I can’t ride a bike.
We know you can ride.
How long will it take to learn?
You just got to try.
He tries many times.
Then a wobbly start smooths out
He proved himself wrong!
We're so proud of Ethan for not giving up. Want to read more haikus? Click here.

Fantastic!! I love the picture and it is one he'll remember when he starts teaching his own child to ride a bike!
Aw, perfect picture and perfect haiku chronicling this rite of passage. :)
YAY!! We can't even get our daughter ride her bike. She fell off once and now won't get back on. Has a literal meltdown if we try to encourage her to get back on :(
Hooray for success! Nice job on the bike riding and the haiku.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Oh yay! What a great memory for him and you to have!
Way to go Ethan :))) from your cousins' Grace and Dan
That is great news! He'll be doing Wheelies before you know it ;)
Woo hoo, I know how much hard work it takes to get there. Well done
Yay! I'd so love to see Max on a bike but our neighborhood is just too scary. Awesome you got a good pic of it too.
Woohoo! That is sch an exciting milestone!
How thrilling! I remember my first time riding a bike by myself...I thought my dad was still holding onto the back but he wasn't, and I was excited and scared to find that I was doing it myself. Nice haiku too!
brilliant. reminds me of how i felt when i was first able to ride a bike without training wheels. :)
How amazing!! Congrats.
Wahoo! That is so cute. My little guy hasn't even figured out pedaling yet, but I'm sure this day will come for me sooner than I think!
