Scrapbooking Getaway

Paper, scissors, glue.
Used to nail down memories.
This is such hard work.

No, really, it’s true.
I must have two days alone.
No kids are allowed.

Scrapbooking retreats
What a wonderful excuse
For mommy downtime.

Haiku Friday
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! For more haikus, click here.

Great Haiku! My Daughter-in-law is big time into scrapbooking and she has a great time with it. They have no kids yet - so finding time isn't an issue - yet.

Gosh that sounds so relaxing to have a couple days to create & organize...

Wait, you mean you get to go AWAY for a couple of days for scrapbooking? I'm thinking I might have to try this.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Happy weekend!

Have a fantastic time! I went on scrapbooking retreat a couple of weeks ago and while I'm still desperately trying to get caught back up, it was a great weekend and I needed it terribly. Get lots done...and if you don't, well, drink lots! LOL

OK, I'm really impressed with the haikus every Friday. Despite 6 years spent studying literature in college and grad school, I never got the hang of poetry or haiku.

And while I spent several years as an avid card maker, I never got into scrapbooking. But I always did envy the scrapping retreats.

That does sound like a lot of fun! I've never done the scrapbooking thing, but it always looks so pretty and so cool when done right.

Daughter is a scrapbooker. She says the same thing. Must be away from the kids to get it done.

I have to scrapbook online now because I never get anything done by the time I get out all the paper and whatnot!
