Larimer Square

Do you have a place you have gone to since you were a kid that’s just magic? For me, that place was Larimer Square in Denver. This one block of restaurants and boutiques was the pinnacle of urban existence for me as a teenager. I got a thrill every time I wandered down some of the dark alley ways that connected the Larimer St. to 16th St. to check out what’s new at the United Colors of Benetton shop.
Even after being exposed to even bigger and better shopping meccas over the years, like the Magnificent Mile in Chicago, I’d still rather get a latte at The Market and watch people wander through Larimer Square any day.

United Colors of Benetton. I remember when that was so cool! I haven't heard about that in years. What a cool place to go shopping!

Oh I love those lights. I could see how you'd love going there as a kid, heck even as an adult! I think my favorite place to go was my grandma's. Even if it was just next door =P Camping was always exciting too though.

I agree. I love Larimer Square. I lived in the Denver/Boulder area for a few years and I love to go back and visit!
