They have a practice board you can buy, it helped us a lot. I'll see if i can find a link for it, good luck!
they sure look comfortable! I remember it took a bit for both of my kids to 'get it' on tying shoes; lots of practice for sure :)betty
Which, they way little boys grow, should be in about 2 weeks :)
I promise to keep Foster in slip-on shoes as long as I can. :)
Slip on shoes - not a bad idea except for that whole shoe tying thing. :)

Neither of my boys know how to tie shoes. I have bigger battles to fight right now. ;)
Is he all eager to learn? The slip ons look cute
Again, I'm like you. I've been putting off teaching my son how to tie his shoes too. Maybe later...
This exactly why my son has shoes with velcro... but then again he is only three!
There's always velcro. It's better than double knots and no untying.
Sounds like a good plan to me.
DB love, love, loved his pair like this! Unfortunately he also loved walking on the heels, so they didn't last very long...
My husband still wears slip on shoes. He can tie shoes but he prefers the styles of the slip-on. So it's not really a necessary life skill anymore. He can learn to tie and make knots...but it doesn't have to be on his shoes. :)
Finally got my "after" shot up:
