Annuals Gone Wild

Here is haphazard gardening at its best. We planted this annual—can’t remember its name—last year in a garden plot next to our patio. When the weather cooled, we pulled them up, never expecting to see these flowers again. But apparently, a seed escaped and found a new home in the rock bed on the other side of the patio.
This technically now is a weed, but it’s too pretty to pull up.

Love when that happens! In our veggie garden, every year is a surprise because I don't harvest everything. I had 7 tomato plants show up on their own:)

Dandelion. And though a weed, they do make good wine.

Looks like a flower to me! And didn't it pick a perfectly aligned spot to be?

I love it! it shows tenacity and spunk to grow; kind of bloom where you are planted, know what I mean??

Wow..I guess that is called destiny, is it's to happen it would happen no matter whatever happens.

And don't pull it up, another seed might not be able to escape :-)

A weed is simply a flower growing in the 'wrong' place ;-)

How lovely! I think that's Calendula, or pot marigold. If it is, it's good for medicinal uses, or for coloring butter yellow!
